Nigel Brown to cook live in Lincoln

Chef supreme: Nigel Brown will cook live at the Theatre Royal, teaching audiences how to make reastaurant-quality food.

Radio chef Nigel Brown will be starting his national tour Yes Chef! at the Lincoln Theatre Royal this autumn, a must-see for any foodie. Due on September 3, the show will be a “cooking spectacular” set to impress the most advanced or novice chefs.

Brown will demonstrate the theatrical concept of cookery, as he creates dishes live on stage for the first time. He will be teaching the audience how to make nutritious, reastaurant-quality food.

One of Brown’s biggest fans, Jean-Christophe Novelli, says: “It’s a pleasure to watch Nigel on stage or in the kitchen, he has a natural ability to entertain an audience with his fantastic skill and gentle manner, and we enjoy working with him as one of our select guest chefs at the Novelli Academy.”

Browm has regularly given cooking advice on BBC Humberside’s morning show, as well as being the Chef and Food Editor for the regional Renaissance Hull magazine.

In January 2010, Brown had the honour of providing lunch, refreshments and in-flight afternoon tea for Princess Anne’s visit to Lincolnshire.

The chef spectacular will be appearing at the Theatre Royal at both 2.30pm and 7.30pm showings. Tickets start at £16.00, and can be purchased from the Theatre Royal Box Office.
