Texas Tenors to visit Lincoln Theatre Royal

Taste of tenor: America’s Got Talent’s The Texas Tenors will be performing live at Lincoln Theatre Royal this autumn.

America’s Got Talent finalists The Texas Tenors will be visiting Lincoln next month to bring their quirky take on opera to the stage.

The trio (JC Fisher, Marcus Collins and John Hagen) will be at Lincoln Theatre Royal on September 4, as part of their first UK tour.

The three tenors, which combine classical opera with country, gospel, and broadway music, became 2009’s Vocal Group of the Year, and bring a twist to the package.

Marcus is the contemporary influence of the group, while JC brings his own interpretations of classic love songs, and John is simply the classical tenor.

The childhood friends have also been actors, starring in films and television series such as P.S. I Love You, Sex And The City, and 30 Rock, and have performed in many great opera houses across America.

To get a taste of their unique sound, tickets start at £15.50, and can be purchased at the Theatre Royal box office.
