Sneak peek inside the Tokyo Lincoln refurb

Renovation: Get a unique tour inside the former Constitutional Club, set to become a club this August.

Work on Lincoln’s latest nightspot is well underway, as the Constitutional Club gets transformed into Tokyo Lincoln.

There’ll be a 1,000 capacity nightclub and a restaurant once the £1.5 million renovation is completed by owners Tokyo Industries.

After 15 years as a derelict property, the building will re-open its doors to the public for the August Bank Holiday — with Calvin Harris and 2 Many DJs already booked to play the opening weekend.

Built in 1895 by architect William Watkins, the Silver Street building is Grade II listed. The Lincolnite was invited to explore the property as it is given a new lease of life. Here’s a gallery of what we discovered:
